Car Wash Associate (Riverside, Dixie, Washington)
Dino Dash Car Wash brings the fastest, most convenient, most technologically advanced car wash experience to southern Utah. Dino Dash is locally owned and operated. Our owner’s have been in the car wash business in St. George, UT for over 15 years. We take pride in providing our customers with a quality car wash in as little as 3 minutes, as well as giving a great value for a fair price.
POSITION SUMMARY: Our Associates are critical to delivering the friendly, safe, and professional service that distinguishes Dino Dash Car Wash and drives our sales results. Our Associates work as part of a team to provide the perfect guest experience to every one of our customers. This includes making sure we have a sparkling clean Car Wash and that we operate efficiently to help our guests get in and out quickly!

What you would do:
- Assist customers in choosing the right service
- Guide vehicles onto conveyor
- Prepare vehicles as they enter the wash tunnel, ensuring hard to clean areas are given special attention
- Comply with all Dino Dash Car Wash Safety policies and procedures
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by being friendly and attentive to customer needs
- Promptly report any prior or new damage to a customer’s vehicle to management
- Help maintain car wash facilities by cleaning wash tunnel, equipment, vacuum area, parking lot, etc.

Position Summary
The Shift Lead position at Dino Dash Car Wash is a leadership role responsible for helping oversee daily operations, supporting employees, assisting customers, and maintaining company standards during each shift. Shift Leads are expected to lead by example, communicate effectively, and help ensure the site operates efficiently and professionally at all times.
This position requires responsibility, accountability, strong customer service skills, leadership ability, and a willingness to learn operational and mechanical aspects of the wash.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Employee Accountability
Shift Leads are expected to assist management by helping maintain company standards and employee accountability throughout each shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Correcting employees when procedures or standards are not being followed properly.
- Helping ensure issues are handled correctly and communicated appropriately to the Site Manager.
- Leading by example through attitude, professionalism, work ethic, and accountability.
- Helping employees stay productive and focused during shifts.
- Assisting with maintaining a positive and professional team environment.
- Supporting site operations and helping employees perform their responsibilities correctly.
Shift Leads should be comfortable stepping into leadership situations and helping guide employees when needed.
Customer Service Responsibilities
Shift Leads are expected to provide professional and solution-oriented customer service at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers with memberships and account concerns.
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues onsite whenever possible.
- Assisting with damage claims, refunds, lost items, and other customer concerns.
- Communicating professionally with upset customers and helping resolve conflicts calmly and respectfully.
- Clearly explaining next steps to customers regarding claims, investigations, refunds, or follow-up actions.
Shift Leads represent Dino Dash and are expected to maintain a professional, respectful, and customer-focused attitude at all times.
Mechanical & Operational Responsibilities
Shift Leads are expected to be willing to learn and assist with operational and mechanical responsibilities throughout the site.
Responsibilities include:
- Learning how to identify and report issues in the wash tunnel, equipment room, and vacuum area.
- Assisting with basic troubleshooting and operational tasks.
- Being proactive in identifying potential equipment or operational concerns.
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assisting management with operational tasks and site upkeep as needed.
Mechanical experience is not required, but a willingness to learn and assist is expected.
Communication Expectations
Strong communication is a key part of the Shift Lead role.
Shift Leads are expected to:
- Communicate operational issues, customer concerns, and employee issues to the Site Manager.
- Clearly communicate expectations and corrections to employees.
- Keep customers informed about processes and next steps regarding:
- Damage claims
- Refunds
- Lost items
- Equipment issues
- Membership concerns
Professional and timely communication is expected with both customers and employees.
Availability Expectations
Shift Leads are expected to maintain dependable availability to support site operations.
Requirements include:
- Being available to work at least four weekdays each week.
- Working a minimum of four weekend days per month.
- Weekend days are strictly defined as Saturdays and Sundays.
- Being reliable, punctual, and willing to assist when additional support is needed.
Schedules may vary based on business needs and staffing requirements.

Training Requirement
Please note:

The Assistant Manager at Dino Dash Car Wash plays a key leadership role in the daily operation and success of the site. Assistant Managers are expected to operate the location with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards in customer service, employee accountability, site cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance.
This position requires strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lead by example. Assistant Managers are expected to take initiative, solve problems, support employees, and ensure the site operates efficiently and professionally at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations & Leadership
- Operate the site with little to no supervision from the Site Manager or upper management.
- Handle daily operational issues and customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure employees stay on task and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Minimize errors such as rewashes, policy violations, and customer complaints.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional-looking site at all times.
- Go above and beyond normal expectations with cleaning, organization, and operational responsibilities.
- Lead by example in attitude, work ethic, professionalism, and accountability.
Employee Supervision & Training
- Keep employees productive and focused throughout each shift.
- Correct employees when standards or policies are not being followed.

Mechanical & Maintenance Responsibilities
Assistant Managers must be mechanically inclined and willing to assist with site maintenance and repairs.

- Assisting with maintenance projects alongside Site Managers or upper management.
- Performing routine tasks such as:
- Greasing equipment
- Pressure washing
- Changing prep hoses
- Replacing bug guns
- Replacing vacuum hoses
- Replacing hydraulic hoses
- Identifying equipment issues by sight or sound and reporting concerns promptly.
- Taking initiative to complete side tasks without being asked, including:
- Restocking towels
- Stocking vending machines
- Organizing supplies
- Completing cleaning projects
Customer Service Expectations
